Privacy Policy

PuffDown is built to be private by design. There is no account to create, and your vaping data stays on your device. Vaping data is sensitive — so we don't run a server that stores it, and it never leaves your phone.

Information we collect

• No account, no personal data. PuffDown has no sign-in. We do not collect your name, email, contacts, or location.
• Your vaping data stays on your device. Your puff logs, taper plan, craving events, vape profile, settings and stats are stored locally on your iPhone (and, when you use the optional Apple Watch app, on your watch). This data is not uploaded to us.
• No analytics, no tracking. We do not run analytics SDKs, advertising, or any cross-app tracking. We have no way to see how much you vape.
• Purchases. PuffDown Pro (subscription or the one-time Lifetime purchase) is processed by Apple and managed through RevenueCat. RevenueCat assigns a random, anonymous identifier so it can tell whether this device has an active purchase. We receive subscription status only — never your name or payment details.

How we use information

• To run the app's features — counting, taper plan, stats, reminders — on your device.
• To unlock and restore your PuffDown Pro purchase.
• To respond to support requests you choose to send us by email.

Third-party services

• Apple — the App Store handles all payments and, for Pro, your purchase status. PuffDown uses Apple system features (notifications, Live Activities, widgets, and the Apple Watch) that run on your device.
• RevenueCat — anonymous subscription management; receives no personal data that identifies you. RevenueCat privacy

What we don't do

• No accounts and no third-party login.
• No advertising and no ad tracking.
• No analytics SDKs and no cross-app tracking.
• No uploading of your vaping data — ever.
• We do not sell your data — we never receive it in the first place.

Data retention & deletion

Because your data lives on your device, you are always in control. Delete everything any time from Settings → Delete all data inside the app, or simply delete the app. You can also export your data to a CSV file from Settings before you do — we never hold your data hostage.

Age

PuffDown is a smoking- and vaping-cessation tool rated 17+ and is intended for adults working to reduce or quit. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone — we don't collect it at all.
